Where does Jay perform?
Jay is based in the east of Melbourne but he's available for weddings across the state and interstate.
Travel fees may apply for events beyond a set radius — ask about your specific location when enquiring.
Can I book Jay for just one role — for example, celebrant only?
Absolutely. Each service is available independently. Combined bookings are popular because of the continuity they offer, but there is no obligation to bundle. Jay is just as invested in a standalone ceremony as he is in a full-day booking.
What if the day runs late?
It happens — and Jay plans for it. Built-in buffer time and flexible run-sheets mean a late start rarely becomes a problem. As coordinator, MC and DJ rolled into one, he can adjust every element in real time without the couple ever knowing.
How far in advance should we book?
Popular dates — particularly Saturdays from October through April — book out fast. Enquiring 12-18 months ahead is recommended. That said, Jay does accommodate last-minute bookings where availability allows.
What does the booking process look like?
Start with an enquiry through the contact page. Jay will check availability, arrange a no-obligation discovery call, and if you're a good fit, confirm the booking with a contract and deposit. From there, everything is handled with regular check-ins right up to the day.
